LAMB #179 - Cut, Print, Review

URL: http://www.cutprintreview.com/
Site Name: Cut, Print, Review
Categories: Reviews
Rating: Currently let’s go with PG-13. But put it this way, I won’t be holding back if things get me angry or excited.

What is the main focus of your site?
Just movie reviews for now. If I forayed too much into frequent movie news and previews i’d probably never have time to watch the damn things.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
I’m doing a bachelor of Media at University, so starting this blog will hopefully aid in improving my journalistic skills and potentially could become part of a portfolio. That and I also just get a genuine kick out of telling anyone who will listen just what I think...

Do you prefer an interactive 'community' for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
I’d love to get the community thing going. It’s far more rewarding as a blogger and critic when readers contribute, especially when they have differing opinions to you. It makes for great discussions. But right now I think I’m the only one reading the reviews, so there currently isn’t much of that going on.

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
Let me see. Since....Last week. Yeah, on Sunday. But I’ve been mentally blogging and critiquing film for a lot longer....

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
Oh wow...the first two that popped into my head this time were:
Memento
The Shining

so let’s just leave it at that.

How did you hear about the LAMB?
Those incredibly cool things called “Blogrolls”.

Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that's not listed above.
Considering I’m fairly new to the blogosphere (and reviewing films...) I’d love for you experienced bloggers and critics to drop by and leave some constructive feedback. It would be greatly appreciated!
