What is the main focus of your site?
Pop culture. Okay so that's a bit broad, but I tackle movies/TV, with a penchant for animated movies and Oscar-y stuff. I'm a fan of screen-grabs and quotable quotes from Films and TV.
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
The main reason I write up stuff on my blog is to give myself an outlet for all my pop culture needs (graduate school can get a bit too 'serious' and 'careerist' not to mention too literary, so I try to see my blog as my Valium. It soothes me and allows me to escape for a bit.
Do you prefer an interactive 'community' for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
I do prefer an interactive community (more traffic would help in accomplishing this) as I really don't enjoy writing to a vacuum. For students I have my own classes that I teach :P
How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
My blog is around 19 months old now (wow! time flies) and on a good week I'm posting around 5-7 times.
