What is the main focus of your site?
Simple, to chronicle the cinema of the noughties with the help from my fellow bloggers. In just over 7 months the noughties will be behind us and in it's wake will be 10 years of cinematic achievement, the highs, the lows, the awards winners and the duds. Counting Down The Zeroes, sister site to Film for the Soul, will act like an archive to this ongoing project in which, year by year, we'll cover the cinema of the decade.
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
It's all for fun but there is a serious element in trying to attempt to achieve an ultimate resource for film during the zeroes, compiled and created by you, the good people of the blogsphere.
Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
Oh interactive. Interactive all the way. Without you, this can't happen at all.
How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
I've been blogging for over a year now, I own Film for the Soul, I can't say I've been the most prolific poster on the blogsphere but this project has changed all that, I post at least once a day now, with each day introducing a new writer, a new film and a different perspective.
Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
Well, to keep in the 00's theme, I'll stick to the last decade. Here goes. The Return (Vozvrashcheniye) - not the Buffy one, Punch Drunk-Love (just perfect) and Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter...and Spring. I know I'll change my mind by tomorrow.
