Categories: Reviews, Classic Film, General
Rating: PG-13
What is the main focus of your site?
To review a wide variety of films from the latest releases to classics to trashy action. No stone is left unturned and all films get a fair deal.
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
I'm trying to voice and share my opinions on films as well as occasionally introduce people to titles they might not have given a chance before.
Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
I prefer an interactive community, although due to the relative youth of my site I'm yet to establish much of a community. Hopefully things will change.
How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
This blog has been up for just over 4 months and I tend to update it around 5 or 6 times a month. I used to have my own Geocities review site which I started probably about 10 years ago and kept running fairly regularly for about 3 years. I also currently contribute to Row Three. I try and keep posts different between that and my blog - any films I watch that have already been covered by Row Three or I feel don't belong there go up on Dave's Film & DVD Reviews. I also post links to my Row Three articles on my blog to keep it even more active.
Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
Once Upon a Time in the West
This is Spinal Tap
The Godfather
How did you hear about the LAMB?
A link on another blog (sorry forgotten which one!)
Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that's not listed above.
As a side note, I'm also a filmmaker, working as a cameraman and editor for a small production company in the UK, so I pretty much live and breath film. I'm also quite heavily into my music too - listening and performing.
