LAMB Chops!

I apologize for being MIA both Saturday, and yesterday. I have quite literally slept at the office four of the last six nights, trying to get things done. Instead of the usual five chops, I'm going to tack on a few extra to try and make it up to you. Without further excuses, here are your Chops!

Today's Choice Chop comes from the site JDBRecords. When he submitted his chop, he wrote in the email, "I wanted to offer up my review of the documentary Still Bill about singer songwriter Bill Withers. I was very moved by it and I hope it gets a larger audience." How could I not pay special attention to that? If you're like me, and have never heard of Bill Whithers, lean on JDBRecords' review to explain why you should want to see this doc. Here's a brief intro to Mr. Whithers from JDBRecords' review.

After the high-volume, shrillness of the Grammy Awards ceremony, it was refreshing to catch a screening of the new documentary about singer songwriter Bill Withers. Famed for two of the greatest American hits of all time, "Ain't No Sunshine" and "Lean on Me," Withers remains straightforward and laid-back. Born and raised in West Virginia, Withers enlisted in the Navy and became an aircraft assembler. He began writing songs, doing demo tapes, and club performances. The popularity of "Ain't No Sunshine" led to a record deal.
