What is the main focus of your site?
I’m a professional archaeologist with interests in popular culture and film. I'm using "1001 Movies you must see before you die” as a rough guide for film selection. The mini-reviews of films and books are thumbnail sketches of my initial thoughts and feelings about the movies/books I’m watching and reading and are intended as a personal reminder - and are posted here simply for the fun of it.
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?

Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
I look forward to any comments on the movies themselves, or even better, recommendations for further viewing and reading.

I've been blogging since November 2008. I post updates 10-15 times per month.
