Site Name: TheGreatWhiteDope's Mecha-Blog-Zilla
Categories: Reviews, General, Humor, Lists, Bad Films
Rating: PG-13
What is the main focus of your site?
Most of what the Mecha-Blog-Zilla does is talk about a variety of movies, most of them bad, but also about just what happens to tickle my fancy at the time. It's not my fault that it's about movies most of the time.
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
I have over 700 movies in my collection. Sooner or later, I'm going to either review or talk in general about all of them. I want to share my love for movies, both good and bad, with the blogging public at large. It's a daunting task but I'll do it...eventually.
Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
Interactive is good, but if I can teach with what I write about, even better!
How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
My blog is over five years old and I update much more frequently than I used to, at least four-five times a month at the very least. But when I post, it's usually a thoughtful endeavor.
Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
2001: A Space Travesty, Frankenstein Island, A.P.E.
How did you hear about the LAMB?
My friend Jason Soto (http://invasionofthebmovies.blogspot.com/) told me he wrote me in for some Lammy thing. I thought, "Oh, an award. Cool..." Then I read up on these Lammy things and thought it might be interesting to see if this was a club that would allow me as a member, then see if Groucho's axiom was right after all....
Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that's not listed above.
Thanks for letting me ramble, and I hope I can be a productive (award-worthy) member of the community at large. And this might just be the impetus I need to review more movies! See you in the bookmarks!
