LAMB #497 - Should I See It

Site Name: Should I See It
Categories: Reviews, News
Rating: PG
What is the main focus of your site?
I write my own film reviews and link to news stories in and around the film and pop culture world...
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
To have an open and honest dialogue about films from the most mainstream to the most independent. I love film, love to talk about it, here different viewpoints and write about film. I just want to have my voice be a part of the conversation more than anything. Also, be one of the last in the world to turn this into a paying, self-sustaining career. (A boy can dream...)
Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
Much more interactive. I run from the notion or appearance of being a film snob. Yes, I have opinions and I do like to share them, but I am not naive to think that my view is the only view. I love hearing other people share their experiences, both good and bad, from watching a film. Also down for a conversation in that world.
How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
A lifelong film fan who began watching films when I was 7 or so, despite working in video retail for years, and watching hundreds of films a year, I have only been blogging since October 2009. I post new reviews weekly and older film short reviews regularly. I try to post something on the site daily.
Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
Citizen Kane
A Clockwork Orange
Memento
