To provide intelligent reviews on current releases and insightful articles from academics and those involved in the movie industry.

To build a successful and useful site that people interested in movies visit regularly.
Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
We like to receive comments and engagement from our readers but our reviewers' opinions are our greatest asset.
How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
Pure Movies has been going for a couple of years but over the last 6 months we have relaunched it and putting more effort into making it work. It's updated about 3-4 times a week.
