Site Name: Celluloid Moon
Categories: Reviews, General, Editorials, Classic Film, Lists
Rating: PG-13

What is the main focus of your site?
Celluloid Moon is an ongoing film journal meant to archive my continuing film education, both as a watcher and a writer. So the focus is more on older films, although anything is up for grabs.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
My ultimate goal is to better understand film as a whole, but also to be able to better express my own thoughts on film, whether that be a standard review, an essay or something else.

Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
Definitely interactive. The whole purpose of Celluloid Moon is to expose myself to the juggernaut that is the online film community and learn, learn, learn...

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
Active to varying degrees since 2006, usually one or two posts a week unless that whole "life" thing gets in the way.

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
Seven Samurai, Casablanca, The Adventures of Robin Hood

How did you hear about the LAMB?
I kept seeing the pretty little picture on websites like Hugo Stiglitz Makes Movies and Lazy Eye Theater and thought to myself, "what the $#@!"

Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that's not listed above.
The only thing that amazes me more than the constant flaming and mud-slinging to be found online is the incredible amount of nice people willing to talk, teach, and help whenever I have a question about a film or a process for writing about film. In other words, we suck, but we rock even more.
