What is the main focus of your site?
The plan is to watch and review every film ever nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards. That's 470 movies and I'm trying to cram them all into a year.
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
Personally, this is a great way to learn more about film and its history. Professionally, the blog is a huge portfolio that could lead anywhere. For my readers, I hope to expose them to classics they otherwise might have never encountered. I try to make recommendations within the review and understand how the film would relate to a 21st century audience.
Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
Interactive, I don't know everything and I appreciate the feedback.
How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
The blog was activated on February 28th 2010 and I began posting reviews 7-9 times a week on March 8th.
