Site Name: Best For Film
Categories: Reviews, News, Editorials, Humor, Horror
Rating: PG-13

What is the main focus of your site?
Film and DVD reviews, Movie News and a sharply-opinion Film Blog. UK Cinema listings coming soon...

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
The blog is a joint venture with a full-time team of staff who are passionate about film.

As with cinemas in the face of bit torrent, we are aiming for a full house and vibrant discussion.

We are professionals. We are not affiliated to any venture other than our own, so we can keep our journalistic integrity high.

Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
We far, far prefer an interactive community. Let us say a person either likes or dislikes Inception. They may be passionate and vociferous in their views. So long as they can explain WHY they hold to their opinion, everyone learns whether they personally can trust that person as a critic or not.

In a good way, everyone's a critic! We don't care what view a community holds. We care only that they can communicate why they hold it. That way, everyone's a sure-fire winner.

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
The site has been active since January 2010. Readers get multiple daily posts.

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
I have many favourites, here are three of them:
Bladerunner
Full Metal Jacket
(the first half)
Fargo

How did you hear about the LAMB?
Personally? I had the good fortune to have CS as my very first and therefore most preciousssss follower. His profile showed a link to LAMB - and here I am! It is my regret I had not heard of you guys sooner :)

Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that's not listed above.
Q: When you put your other hat on, you're the editor of a popular teenage feminist website. Do you think more feminist issues should be addressed in movies?

A: No, no I don't. Good heavens, no! I think more humanist issues should be addressed in movies. And also movies should always aim to have fleshed-out, morally complex characters, be they male or female.

Except, of course, in the kind of movie where a fleshed-out character is completely inappropriate. BILL AND TED'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE, I'm looking at you.
