Site Name: Z-portal
Categories: Reviews, General, News, Humor, Horror, Lists
Rating: NC-17
What is the main focus of your site?
Cheesy, Sleazy, Must-See Movies. I review foreign, obscure, and B-movies that I enjoy watching in different genres such as Horror, Sci-Fi, Kung Fu/Martial Arts, and Cult favorites
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
I started this blog as an outlet for my obsession with movies. I never expected it to go anywhere but now that I'm getting some viewers, I would like to see if this can lead to a job in the future. Ideally, if the blog ever gets big, I would like to piggy-back on its success and use it as an excuse to meet and chat with celebrities, directors, or just other movie reviewers. I truly think I'm nothing more than a movie geek at heart.
Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
I would definitely prefer an interactive community. When I write a blog entry, I seek to inform others with similar interests about a particular subject that I happen to be interested in at the moment. However, I encourage others to comment with their own opinions, dispute a statement that I have made, or just interact with myself or each other.
How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
This blog was created March 15, 2010. I took a 3 month break and began writing in it again in June. I really started becoming active in mid to late August and have been actively trying to post as frequently as possible.
Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
Re-Animator, Warriors Two, Destroy All Monsters

Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that's not listed above.
I think my edge stems from my quirky personality. I think I'm a pretty strange individual and so my opinions may, hopefully, be a little more unique. I don't expect to appeal to a mass audience because of the bizarre nature of my tastes and hope to develop my own little cult following.
