Hey there, LAMBs - remember me?Just popping in to let the uninitiated know of what I think is a pretty cool thing going down over at the LAMB's Facebook page. It's tentatively titled "Random LAMB-Mobbing," and it breaks down like this.
Each day, I'm going to visit random.org and have it randomly select a number between 1 and [whatever number of LAMBs we have posted through that day]. Assuming the site isn't a dead LAMB (and for at least awhile, isn't a repeat of an earlier day), that will be the Random LAMB of the Day.
But here's where the fun part starts, and the part that I think most important to all of you. Your job, if you're willing, is to visit that site on that day and post a comment. Somewhere. Anywhere. Post 12 if you want. The point is to perhaps turn you on to a new LAMB that you previously hadn't read and really give it a chance. And even if it's not up your alley, well hey, that site's author is bound to notice a bunch of traffic and comment love on that day, which helps them, which in turn helps the LAMB, which in turn helps this feature, and so on and so forth.
So if you haven't already Liked the LAMB on Facebook, go here now to do so. And if you already have and just haven't taken part yet in a Mobbing, go for it! It'll only take a couple seconds a day.
