Pretty even split in terms of who partakes in podcasting and who doesn't, as 48% of you listen only, with an additional 7% that either do them and listen to them or just do them. That left 37% as not participants and 6% that were unaware of what one was.
All of that was a gauge to see what the reception might be if there were a LAMB Podcast in the future; it's something that I'd really like to do, but there's a slight learning curve, and what with the LAMMYs going on right now, this really ain't the time. It's going on the list of "things I'd like to do in the near future here that might get pushed back indefinitely."
That said, if you do a podcast (regularly), I'd like to compile a list of links for maybe a weekly post. I know I'd certainly listen to all them if they were easily findable.
As a bonus poll (I guess it's a bonus), I wanted to take the temperature of the reaction to the press releases/new Plug format I've been using for a few weeks now. I'm glad it's only a small percentage that doesn't like them. I'm hoping that, in time, indie filmmakers will see the LAMB as a place to plug their films and/or get the LAMBs to review them; seems a win-win for all involved. Exposure for them, content for you, hub for the LAMB.
New poll is up. I know how much traffic each of you send to the LAMB (that is, if Google Analytics is to be trusted, which I think it is, for the most part); now I'm curious as to how much traffic the LAMB sends your way. I hope it's not the lowest option for everyone, as that would make the LAMB look really bad, but I have faith it isn't, and Blog Cabins' traffic backs me up - it gets ~200 hits/month from the LAMB. I know that might be slightly skewed, but I can't imagine that it's skewed that much.
P.S. - If you don't mind and/or it's not too much trouble, please leave a comment here with your site name, LAMB# (if you know it, at least roughly) and average monthly hits from the LAMB (one month's worth, three months, six months - take your pick). I'd love to know.
