Did you know that Steven Soderbergh often uses the alias of "Peter Andrews" when he serves as his own director of photography or the occasionally uses the alias of Mary Ann Bernard when he works on the editing of his own films? While shooting Traffic he wanted to be credited for photography and directing, but the Writer's Guild Association (WGA) would not allow another credit ahead of the writer as stated under their guild regulations. Supposedly, he did not want to list his name too many times in the film's credits, so he had adopted a couple of pseudonyms as an resolution. Peter Andrews, by the way, would the first name and middle name of his father. Interesting, eh?
Care to participate in the Director's Chair series?
If you are a LAMB member who would like to participate in the Director's Chair series then jump back to the original posting for the series to grab some information about the requirements for participation. However, make sure to observe that the deadline for the current installment of the series is tonight (it is within reason that I need enough time to add your link to the last day of the event). Make sure to send me an e-mail at mattehavoc@gmail.com with the links directly to the articles so that I may not accidentally overlook anything if I were to fish through your blog trying to find a wandering article. Now, without further delay here are the links for the second day of our fantastic installment.
