What is the main focus of your site?
F&F: reviews on silent and pre-Code films, as well as some exploitation films of the 1930s
SS: poetry, photos, and anecdotes on silent film
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
I want to spread the magic that is silent films to the public. Too often they’re regarded as quaint little relics, when in reality they’re well-crafted and acted gems.
Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
I welcome comments and suggestions, so definitely interactive.
How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
I started both sites around July 2009. Silent Stanzas gets updated once a week; F&F not as often but still a few times a month.
