What is the main focus of your site?
The main focus of my site is to review/discuss movies that I've recently watched. I'm focusing on emptying my "To watch" list, 1001 movies to see before you die, and I review movies for Cool(Shite) (www.coolshite.net) which I also post on my own blog. I also talk about books and music, but not as often as movies.
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
I use my blog as an outlet for my opinions on movies and other media. I realised that not many people around me spent as much time thinking about movies as I did and really didn't want to talk about them as often as I did. In order to avoid pissing off everyone around me I decided to start a blog. It's worked for me so far.
Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
I definitely prefer an interactive community for my blog. I definitely think of myself as a peer, not a teacher.
How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
I've been movie blogging for about 3.5 months. I try to update twice a week, though sometimes it's more, sometimes less.
