Hello LAMBs,
I’m enjoying your devouring of the Oscars and it was on this point I wanted to drop you a quick note.
I am Site Editor for VoucherCodes.co.uk – we’re a money saving website who do discounts for Amazon, Play.com etc.
We’re currently running an Oscars sweepstake – but with a bit of a difference – namely, that it is only open to entertainment bloggers and professional entertainment writers – you can see it here at the moment - http://www.vouchercodes.co.uk/competitions/oscar-predictions. Guess the most winners from the following categories and you could win £250 (about $390) in Amazon vouchers - to keep you in movies for the year ahead!
We have started from an entry by the radio times film critic Andrew Collins (and have put up predictions from Mark Kermode and Xan Brooks).
The rules are pretty straightforward – you can put forward as many predictions as you like; you get one point for a correct prediction and lose a point for an incorrect prediction.
It will be great to see how bloggers do against professionals and also for bloggers to go head to head, in a fun way, against their peers.
Thanks,
Nicholas Barber
Editor
[Editor's note: the LAMB itself will be submitting an entry as well, so there's an added bit of competition incentive for you right there, not that you need it.]
Got a Press Release, something to Plug, or a Screener available for review (or some combination of the three)? Ok, well don't get all crazy about it. Just click here and give me the details - I'll handle the rest.
