Director's Chair #7 -- Day Two

LAMBs in the Director's Chair
Event #7 starring Martin Scorsese
April 28th to 30th of 2010

DAY TWO

Time sure can fly by rather quickly. Here we are staring right at the second day of LAMBs in the Director’s Chair (event #7) and that means it is almost finished. As referred in the post yesterday there is a vast amount of articles submitted for this event, which means it is one of the most popular installments so far. I only wish that you were able to keep up the pace with all the reading material available for us. If the series gains any more popularity, I may have to increase it to a four-day event. For today, there is the second portion of editorials followed by five more reviews for Shutter Island. One of those reviews is available as a podcast, which is quite exciting since this is the first installment to have received an audio review! Keep up the good work, everyone! The rest of the reviews listed for today follow the theme of “Based in New York” as the location for each film. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the articles and reviews. Make sure to show your support for the hard work and dedication these writers have placed in order to participate in the series. Posting a comment on their site under the published article will encourage everyone to keep submitting more material for future Director’s Chair installments. At least, I could only hope it would encourage future participation in the event (wink, wink).

Editorials about Martin Scorsese (etcetera).

Hurray, for all of us who made it through the second day without breaking a sweat! Tomorrow will be the third and final day of the event if you are up for some more excitement. As promised to you already there will be the final group of reviews for Shutter Island available alongside the last section of editorials about Martin Scorsese. Are you pumped up about it? I sure hope so. Moreover, expect several more film reviews that will cover the following titles: Taxi Driver, Mean Streets, Raging Bull, Bringing Out the Dead, Casino, and I Call First (a.k.a. Who's That Knocking at My Door).
