What is the main focus of your site?
Video DeathRay is a podcast that delves into one thing and one thing only: bad/middling/mediocre/eccentric/campy/atrocious/sometimes awesome films that were either forgotten because of their oddities or were just plain forgettable. Here, there are no current theatrical releases, no Oscar winners, and no critical darlings.
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
Truthfully, I started the DeathRay to just have an open forum for me and my fellow cinephile friends to discuss movies. Plain and simple. Nothing more, nothing less.
Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
Interactivity is the goal, I think. The DeathRay is an inclusive community for people who like good/bad/weird films.
How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
The site has been active for going on four months now. We update once a week with a brand new episode of our podcast, usually premiering every Monday or Tuesday.
