Poll results; new poll

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed by the 42% of voters who haven't even given the LAMBcast a shot, but I am quite please with the rating that those that have listened gave it! I think we've come a long way from our first episode, and though we're no polished radio show, I think we might just have more fun than just about any podcast out there, and the round table, come-and-go-as-you-please approach to the podcasters on board for each episode give us I think a pretty unique show. It's one that can be drastically and dynamically different from one episode to the next, glued together by the elements of the show, which don't chance save for special circumstances. Thanks to all that have listened to one of our first 40+ episodes from our first year, and to all that have participated and helped out in any form or fashion. And, like I always say, we love new blood on the show - join us sometime (details at the Forums).

New poll wants to know your interest in a LAMB Buddy System. A few weeks back, in the Sound Off post, Rachel had this idea, which was quite popular:
"I'm not sure exactly how this would work, but what about a "buddy system"? This would be more for new Lambs who are also very new to blogging. We could have a pool of seasoned Lamb volunteers who are willing to help out a noob. It would kind of be like Blustering, but more one-on-one. The new Lamb could take a look at the list of volunteers willing to help and pick one that he finds something in common with, like content, and the two get paired up. The older Lamb can give thoughts and advice on how to better the new Lamb's blog (via email, skype, etc) AND plug the new Lamb on his own site, maybe getting readership up for the new guy.

There would be a ton of kinks to work out, of course, but it may help the new Lambs who are inexperienced bloggers feel more welcomed should they choose to use it. Hopefully we could get a variety of seasoned Lambs to volunteer, so if a new horror blogger needs help and a wider audience, a seasoned horror blogger could help him out, instead of a classic blogger getting paired with a guy who only coves action films."

So now I'm taking the temperature - would you be up for something like that, in either role?
