North by Northeast ("NXNE") is a five day music festival and conferenmce that happens every June in Toronto...and it just so happens, it has quite a nifty film festival attached. The line-up announced includes features about Iggy and The Stooges, Broken Social Scene, The Doors, The Rolling Stones and many more.
The Dark of The Matinee will be providing reactions and reccomendations to films being screened, and who knows...The Matineecast, might even be recording a special NXNE episode!
