LAMBcast #55: Whatcha Been Watchin' Lately?

On a very special episode of the LAMBcast, Nick tells Jason that he "learned it from watching him, alright!"

Naw...it's special for an entirely different reason, but you'll just have to listen to find out why. Kai and Dylan are also on hand, as we discuss What We've Been Watchin' Lately.

Also on tap:

* LAMB of the Week
* Trailer Talk: Insidious
* Last LAMB Standing

LAMBcast #49: Whatcha Been Watchin' Lately?

Six pack! Host Dylan was joined by...deep breath...the Mad Hatter, Nick, Kai, and two noobs to the show, Steve and Stevee (don't worry, keeping track of them was easier than you'd think) as they discussed what they'd all been watchin' lately.

LAMBcast #43 44: The Halloween Ep

Well, as you've hopefully noticed, the LAMBcast has also not been around for a bit. The events I described in the birthday post have also kept me from being successful at not being a flake in these regards. As a result, we're gonna be out of order for a couple weeks here. First up is our Halloween-themed episode (chronologically #44; #43 will be posted in a week or so, and then we'll be back in order), where host Jason, along with James, Kai, Nick, and Dylan present you with a double-live album (read: it's long) in which we discuss our Top Five flicks that scare the crap out of us. Also on top:

* LAMB of the Week
* Trailer Talk: Don't Be Afraid of the Dark

LAMBcast #38

Rachel, Jess, Nick, Jason and Dylan get together for some good old-fashioned LAMB chat, as in a grouping of a gaggle of LAMB old-timers. For this episode, we count down our five most anticipated flicks for the rest of 2010, and as you might expect, our tastes vary wildly (especially with that Jason guy around). Also on tap:

LAMBcast #37

The usual pattern for our Whatcha Been Watchin' Lately? episodes gets disrupted this time out, not only by the ghost inhabiting Heather's computer, but by long discussions of each flick, resulting in just one flick discussed per podcaster. And it's some weird shit, indeed (well, at least Jason's). Also in on it were Dylan, Nick, and Kai. Also on tap:

LAMBcast #35

Warning: This podcast contains explicit language. Or at least a bunch of f-bombs, anyway.

Though, what else could you expect from a podcast where the feature discussion is about the BMF himself, badass Samuel L. Jackson. We shine the spotlight on the man responsible for some of the best moments in pop culture over the past 20 years - frequent collaborator of Spike Lee and Quentin Tarantino, occasional Jedi Knight, and of course, the kilt-wearing, cornrow-sporting star of Formula 51.

On the episode joining me this week was Nick, Jason, Andrew and Kai. We finish with Trailer Talk about Barry Munday and Skyline as well as a pair of long-lasting LLS games.

LAMBcast #33

Before we get to this episode, a minor rant. You'll pardon me if I sound like a whining ninny, but what the heck, man? I know for a fact that more than just the (getting long) list of people that have recorded a LAMBcast are listening to it, and yet with each new episode, the comments seem to evaporate more and more. So, if you're listening, and you love, hate, are indifferent, or just have some general feedback, let's hear it, either here or sent to blogcabins@yahoo.com! We're dancing like monkeys and barely getting a nickel to show for it. End rant - thank you.

Their mission, should they choose to accept it (they did): Bring a random Top 5 to the recording of LAMBcast #33. Note to self: do this again soon sometime, and be sure that you're there for the recording. In other words, some great lists here, not only in the movies that were chosen, but in the lists that these five guys came up with. They were a bit psyched for it, so it took a bit longer than usual (1 hr 23 mins), but I think it's worth it. In on the fun were Nick, Jason, James, Kai, and, in his first time hosting (be gentle), Sebastian.

The lists were then topped off with two surprising games of LLS games and some Trailer Talk about Sucker Punch and Monsters.

PLUG: MILFcast

Hey all,

It's you friendly neighborhood Kaiderman from THE LIST. Just wanted to let you know that I have a new podcast out there called MILFcast (aka: the Man, I Love Films podcast). We are putting out new episodes every 2 weeks and episode 3 is available (as of August 2nd) on iTunes and on podOmatic at www.milfcast.podomatic.com. Check out an episode and let us know what you think.

Also, if any LAMMY's are interested in coming on, even if it's just to play THE GAME, you are more than welcome. I'm backed up with guests for a few months but will get to anyone interested as soon as spots open up.

You can reach me at: kai_parker@yahoo.com

Thanks all and ROCK ON!!!

Got a Press Release, something to Plug, or a Screener available for review (or some combination of the three)? Ok, don't get all crazy about it. Just click here and give me the details (what, when, where, and a link, for starters) - I'll handle the rest.

LAMBcast #31

What do you call six guys gathered around a microphone?

Wait, don't answer that. I made an exception and went beyond our normal (unwritten) 3-5 person rule when I got a message out of the blue from longtime veteran LAMBcaster Big Mike, who joined me, Nick, Jason, and newbies Kai and James for a jam-packed show. It was high time for another "What Have You Randomly Seen Lately?" show, so we run the gamut on everything from Predators to Dr. Giggles to The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo to Pin and everything in between, I think. After the LLS and Trailer Talk-free Pixar eps, those segments make their triumphant return as well. Hell of a show if I do say so my damn self.

Just be prepared for a bit of raunch, a lot of swearing, and a lot of laughs.
